Controls Stop Working

Not sure if it's an issue with gbSP or with NextUI, but yesterday and today I've had issues where my controls stop working. If I put the device to sleep, I can't wake it up and I need to do a hard reset. This is happening on my TrimUI Brick Pro.

Does this happen once? Happens consistently...? Do you do a specific set of actions?

It has happened once per day for the past two days. I was in a Pokemon battle both times my controls stopped working. I'm on the latest firmware 6.14. In terms of a specific set of actions, I'm just navigating menus and selecting attacks or items. I'll check out the Discord link and see if that's the issue I'm having.
