Not able to get images from color camera CS165CU1/M

Hi, I was trying to image with my Zelux CS165CU1/M color camera, even though daq_viewer is detecting the camera, it is not able to take single or multiple snaps. The camera is detected and working with ThorCam.

I can take single and multiple snaps with my Zelux CS165MU/M monochrome camera. The issue is only with the color camera. Am I missing something?

Hi could you tell me first which version of the plugin you 've installed? I worked quite a bit on it recently and incorporated both common shared behaviour for camera and nice integrated work from pylablib.

Now, for color camera, there is a manual option to be set. If None, should return the various color channels otherwise will try to convert the colors to grey scale. I may have missed something, so let me know!

I found the issue, the camera plugin is using since recently an base class implementation from pymodaq_plugins_utils that was not up to date.
I just published an update of the thorlabs plugin forcing also the update on pymodaq_plugins_utils.

try installing pymodaq_plugins_thorlabs 5.0.5 and you'll see some new settings for the color handling:

I'm using built in color conversion from pylablib so if you see something stange with your color camera, let me know!

Thanks for the update! The camera is now being detected and can output images. Color conversion: None and RGB2GRAY work, but it doesn't display images when I set color conversion to BAYER_BG2RGB or BAYER_BG2GRAY. I am attaching the ThorCam output image and DAQ Viewer screenshots.

the other conversion are in case of but pylablib in encoding as RGB directly (however thorlabs initialy is using bayer conversion to output its colored images so if you see something fishy let me know as it could come from this pylablib direct conversion)
