Describe the bug

Pressing ctrl+b to make text bold by adding *s to it also opens the bookmarks page, which is really annoying.

Reproduction

1. Type something in the send message box
2. Highlight text and press ctrl+b
3. It opens the bookmarks page
4. Go back to the room you were in
5. The text you highlighted also has ** surrounding it

Expected behavior

It should either only make text bold (preferred) or only open the bookmarks page
