[Bug]: herd bugs me to update in terminal but button does not appear in herd ui

Bug description

Herd bugs me to update when I run laravel new x in terminal

When I open the herd ui the "update" button that is normally there is not there

See attached screenshots for terminal and herd ui

Steps to reproduce

1. run laravel new x in terminal (where x is obviously new app name)
2. see message from herd complaining about version update
3. open herd and go to the php tab
4. see the missing update button in the herd ui
