this will also cover a bug that kills your fps. basically on macOS there is a feature called game mode. which you have applied wrong. the game mode applies itself to the Modrinth app launcher instead off the actual game. I've found that with Modrinth app launcher open I get 400 fps. and with it closed I get 700. im requesting to add game mode to the java launcher. In addition after testing the default Minecraft launcher, it is a noticeable smoother experience, with actual stable fps ranges and a very fast start up time compared to the slow one with modritnth,

im not to knowledgeable on coding or anything involved, I just wanted to make aware off this mistake. and very much hope it will get resolved, in addition id love to see you give Macos somewhat a priority for improvement !.
