Install on RPI

Hello @eb99. You can build openmodscan from sources.

1. Install dependencies

sudo apt update
sudo apt install -y build-essential cmake git
sudo apt install -y qtbase5-dev qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools qtmultimedia5-dev libqt5serialport5-dev

2. Clone repo

git clone https://github.com/sanny32/openmodscan.git
cd openmodscan

3. Create a build directory

mkdir build && cd build

4. Build

cmake ../omodscan -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DQt5_LUPDATE_EXECUTABLE=<path to your lupdate util>
make -j$(nproc)

thanks so much for your reply.
Unfortunately I have hit another snag, next error says:

      CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:240 (target_link_libraries):
        Target "omodscan" links to:
      
          Qt::SerialBus
      
        but the target was not found.  Possible reasons include:
      
          * There is a typo in the target name.
          * A find_package call is missing for an IMPORTED target.
          * An ALIAS target is missing.

not sure where to go next.

Can you say, what linux version do you use?

You can try build script from dev branch.

1. git clone https://github.com/sanny32/OpenModScan.git
2. cd OpenModScan && git checkout dev
3. ./build.sh
