AgentWake is a setup guide, not a hosted service — but the agent it builds is given full access to the user's machine, so security matters.

If you find a security issue in the guide (for example, a step that could leak credentials or an unsafe default), please report it privately:

• Use GitHub's "Report a vulnerability" button under the repository's Security tab, or
• Email benjibanwart@proton.me

Please do not open a public issue for security problems. You'll get a response as soon as possible.

• Run it on a dedicated machine, not your primary workstation.
• Only pair trusted people on your agent's Discord.
• Keep regular backups.
