Description
Given that all issues for the 1.1 milestone are ticked off, it's time to prepare the 1.1 release.
I bumped the version numbers and updated the SBOM. I furthermore removed the references to Deltaforge from the documentation for now as it is outdated and I'm not entirely sure what to do with it.
I still need to git tag release, which I will do after this is merged, as the commits will be squashed.
