Hi there 👋

My name is Neil, I am the co-founder and CEO of Verne Robotics. Previously, I dropped out of my PhD in CS at Berkeley, and completed my MS in CS at Stanford. I graduated Columbia University with a BS in CS.

In the past, I have been a part of Apple's Vision Pro Algorithms, Human Interface Devices (HID), Motion Interaction, and Motion Fitness teams, working on real-time sensing, 3D computer vision, and generative AI.

I am a researcher at Stanford's SVL lab, advised by Jiajun Wu. I was a researcher at Columbia AI and Robotics lab (CAIR), advised by Prof. Shuran Song.

My background is in embodied AI (robotics), foundation models, and computer vision.
