the cardinality of a domain unit is defined as:
- the number of rows (elements) for one-dimensional domains (table)
- the number of rows and columns (elements) for two-dimensional domains (grid domain)
The cardinality can be:
- configured explicitly with the NrofRows property or range function
- derived from an expression
- read from a storage
