• This version only seems to partially remove copy protection - it works the first time after launching HEAVEN.EXE, but sometimes it asks again after choosing a minigame, and fails. However, opening HEAVEN.EXE and going through the working question again will then seemingly cause it to work indefinitely (?). I was unable to determine how the game remembers this. Two bytes are written at the end of GAME.CFG, C1 C7 and later C2 C7, but including this in the DOSC and deleting the .pure.zip will still cause the same sequence of events after launching the game for the first time.

Installation Options

Configuration is contained in the DOSC instead of the DOSZ, so installation options do not matter. To play the game without the DOSC, users can run SETUP.BAT to produce GAME.CFG. Starting the game while the file doesn't exist will also do this automatically.
