Why
JaCoCo 0.8.6 cannot instrument Java 17 class files. Maven reported success while emitting instrumentation exceptions, which made coverage results unreliable on a modern JDK. The refreshed README visual now describes the adapter boundary without vendor logos or unsupported capability claims.
