The dbc docs site isn't completely indexed by Google though other search providers like Bing and Kagi index the site just fine. It's hard to find any advice on what to do besides "make your pages more interesting to Google".

This PR attempts to improve SEO for Google by,

  1. Using internal hyperlinks wherever we can. Let me know if this feels awkard
  2. Using external hyperlinks wherever we can (ADBC, PyArrow, etc)

In addition, this PR also fixes:

  • Links to the ADBC dev docs that should be links to the released version of the docs
  • One or two minor typos

Related to this, since mkdocs material is becoming outdated, is it worth migrating to a different SSG?
