That's just what PromQL API does, so I am not sure we need to specifically point it out in logging part. If people are using PromQL API the should already be aware of that and the docs already describe it: https://www.elastic.co/docs/reference/query-languages/promql/promql-http-api

@smalyshev similar to the other PR, we should clarify the promql support seperately so we can properly mark it as planned. I will create a follow up item in our backlog to revisit this page before 9.6 to adjust this tagging to be completely inline.
