Congratulations on receiving your Full Scroll Dial!
The Full Scroll Dial is a high resolution scrolling device that can work wired via USB, or wirelessly via Bluetooth.
To get started:
- Power on the Full Scroll Dial using the power switch on the bottom of the device
- Connect the device to your computer
- To use the dial in wired mode, plug the Full Scroll Dial into your computer using a USB-C cable
- To use the dial in wireless mode, pair the device with your computer via Bluetooth
- To cycle through the six available sensitivity settings, press the button on the bottom of the device
- To toggle the scrolling direction, press and hold the button for one section, then release the button
- To charge the device, plug the device in using a USB-C
The Full Scroll Dial natively supports Windows and most modern Linux distros, and high resolution scrolling should work out of the box.
macOS does not natively support high resolution scrolling.
However, there are free applications, created by the community, that aim to work around this restriction. For more information, please join us on our Discord server (you should have received an invitation via email when you ordered the dial).
There are also paid applications e.g. BetterMouse that have been reported to work, although this has not been confirmed.
In the unlikely event you are unable to pair the Full Scroll Dial with your computer even after several attempts, please follow the following steps to reset the Bluetooth pairing keys stored on the Full Scroll Dial:
- Power on the Full Scroll Dial using the power switch on the bottom of the device
- Press and hold the button until the green and blue LEDs flash alternatingly
- Attempt Bluetooth pairing again
- Operating Temperature: 0°C to 45°C
- Charging Temperature: 10°C to 35°C
- Storage Temperature: -10°C to 45°C
