The page covered LoginMode for a launcher-hosted SCU only. For a cloud-hosted cashbox the SCU runs in a fiskaltrust service, which reads the value from the SCU configuration in the Portal. Two steps after saving are easy to miss and leave the setting inactive with no error: the SCU must be linked to the cashbox, and the cashbox must be rebuilt. Verified on sandbox 2026-08-07 — until the link existed, the built configuration listed no SCU at all and the service kept its own default.

Two steps after saving are easy to miss, and skipping either leaves the setting saved but inactive, with no error anywhere:
Verified on sandbox on 2026-08-07. Until the link existed, the built configuration listed no SCU at all and the service kept its own default — a saved value that could never take effect.
Adds a short subsection under Configuration and one Troubleshooting bullet for the symptom.
Related: the two Portal bugs found while verifying this are tracked in fiskaltrust/tech-inquiry#871. The feature itself is market-it#497.
