🚨 Severity: HIGH
💡 Vulnerability: Path traversal vulnerability in CustomEmployeeManager.SetPortrait because employeeId was used in Path.Combine without validation, allowing directory traversal bypasses even if validation existed at registration.
🎯 Impact: A malicious caller or deserialized payload could bypass initial registration validation and load arbitrary image files from the host system, potentially leading to information disclosure.
🔧 Fix: Added independent path traversal validation within SetPortrait. Used a conditional block to ensure the default fallback UI state is still applied if validation fails.
✅ Verification: Run export DOTNET_ROLL_FORWARD=Major && dotnet test to verify the application remains stable and functional.
