Pull request overview
Updates the repository’s auto-generated npm.yml workflow used to run Node-based checks (linting, formatting, tests, and package.json validation) in CI.
Changes:
- Bumps GitHub Actions used in the workflow (checkout/setup-node/cache) to newer major versions.
- Updates the Node runtime from
20.12.0to24. - Adds an explicit step to upgrade npm to
11.10.0before running installs and commands.
