I think this design is inspired by the Swift programming language logo, but the fact that it looks like it's continuously declining toward the bottom right doesn't give a very good impression visually.

It is indeed based on the Swift language logo. I iterated on the design several times and had the same thought on the declining angle originally, but it's really grown on me over time. I've been running it in my menu bar for weeks now and like it a lot.

I think losing the angle would remove all similarity from the Swift language logo, which I think makes this worse. Here's how it looks in my menu bar:

In the first place, don't swallows refrain from flapping their wings when they dive for prey? I believe the Swift programming language logo depicts exactly that kind of diving motion.
I watched several videos on YouTube of them going after prey, and they were not flapping their wings.
