The cirruslabs Ubuntu image is 24.04, whose default sshd_config only accepts LANG and LC_*, so Ghostty's forwarded COLORTERM/TERM_PROGRAM/ TERM_PROGRAM_VERSION get stripped. Ubuntu 26.04's default already accepts COLORTERM, which is why the libvirt VM never needed this. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
