Retired network/telecom engineer with 30+ years in technical solution design and pre-sales, including two decades at IBM and Digital Equipment Corporation, working on large-scale enterprise and carrier networks across the Nordics and Europe.
These days I channel that experience into OpenSAK — a free, open-source, cross-platform geocache management app for Linux, Windows, and macOS, built as a modern successor to GSAK. I handle project management, community, and releases, working alongside my co-developer Fabio.
Background in network architecture, systems integration, and technical leadership — now applied to building tools for the geocaching community in my retirement.
