About

OpenSAK helps geocachers organize, filter, and manage large caching databases offline — importing GPX and Pocket Query data, mapping caches with Leaflet/OpenStreetMap, tracking personal notes and corrected coordinates, and exporting directly to Garmin GPS devices.

It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, is completely free, and is released under the MIT license.

Key Features

  • 📥 GPX and Pocket Query (ZIP) import
  • 🗄️ SQLite-based local databases — full ownership of your data
  • 🔍 Powerful filter engine with AND/OR logic and saved profiles
  • 🗺️ Interactive map view with clustering and color-coded pins
  • 📝 Personal notes, child waypoints, and attributes tracking
  • 📍 Corrected coordinates support
  • 🛰️ Garmin GPS export (GPX / LOC / GGZ)
  • 🌐 Available in 8 languages
